Get people interested, get them to invest and keep them racing. If all of us in the southwest work toward building kart racing as a group who knows how far we can build it up for us and the future racers.

Any thoughts? I would welcome an Adult Sportsman class with the emphasis on "SPORTSMAN". Black flag welcome.

Don, it would be a great class, follow the same format as Phoenix.

Flathead unrestricted
Animal restricted
Clone/Clown unrestricted
KT100 3 hole can

Any takers??

This may help pull some karts out of the garage and get em on the track...I like the idea of a combined class...like Austin said: lets just all Nut Up, Shut Up, and Race like real racers and show we can do it. Don, can I borrow your flatty??

I thought I would use the Flathead on one of my karts and put a Senior Sportsman on the other for Jimmy. We could build your Greyhound to spec and have a clown represented.

I was going to make Jimmy race because he is a sissy.

Don, I am in the process of building a clown motor, we will see if it has any pony's. They are actually kind of fast. What a hoot & cheap too!

We should allow the LO206 too. Complete packages front to back for six bills from reputable builders. Seems like the best package in karting for the money to me.

Maybe something like this......

9hp - Stock Flathead, Alky @ 360lbs.
9hp - Gold Restricted Animal, Alky @ 360lbs.
?hp - BSP Clown, Gas @ 360lbs.
9hp - LO206, Gas @ 360lbs.
10hp - Yamaha Senior Sportsman @ 360lbs.
14hp - Yamaha Superbox @ 410lbs.

Black flag welcome!

I just want to see clean respectful racing, not the slash and bash racing that has become the norm in all classes at ASK. I especially want to see an end to people driving down on you when you get a nose underneath going in and coming out of corners. You see it repeatedly in all classes. It just drives people away from Caplin.

Would have been a good day for an Adult Sportsman race at Caplin Memorial Speedway.

Don,

The sportsman's class sound's fun. I talked to a guy last week that used to race the sportsman's class back in the day, he said what a hoot! Work on putting a class together. Shocked
