Man what a race week this was. After getting caught up in all the rain and cold then hopping in a kart after 3 months to do 4 classes I faired alright. After winning a heat race I finished 3rd in the Super Stock Heavy. I also battled it out in the Stock Heavy class but my tires kept fading after I had the lead for a bit in the main to end up 4th. After gearing changes I could never get the clone or better said clown kart to get going only to get into a wreck and trash a nerf bar and body and move the seat over an inch. After taking an early lead in the Super Box I lost it with 2 to go when my tires went away. The duro was about 55 when I went out and 70 plus after words. Then I took a solid 3rd in the UAS and also was the top dual kart out there. Then the big 18 kart class Yamaha Heavy class I managed to take a 3rd after battling for a second and holding a solid line with only 1 to 2 karts dropping out. So over all pretty dang good week

Yes Caplin and Tim were running, the filed was full off top notch drivers!!!!!!!!!
The New Mexico Boys put on one HELL of a show, with Jude showing the Arizona kids that there is going to be a big Competitor in the New Mexico Winds in the Future to Come!
And for Austin and Chris, Well when these boys hit the track the likes of Pete Gresh Jr, Nathan High, Arron Hernandez, Lee Caplin, Tim Mendaz, Jim Locy, The Aussie Paul Chambers and a lot more big names all spun there heads and wanted to know who these two were and where they came from! Why you ask, well thats pretty easy cause the boys were picking them off one by one!
Both Chris and Austin starting mid pack in the Yamaha Heavy race, with in a lap and a half worked their way to the front!! Unfortunantly for Chris he had a tire go down right when Austin Slung past Pete Gresh Jr to over take second spot and suck in behind Paul French Jr!
With the restart coming and Austin being put back in the 3rd hole on the restart, Junior caught them all napping or maybe the race director Napping LOL, Junior jumped to a big lead and Gresh jr and Austin couldn't real him in! Austin Held of the charging Nathan High and Arron Hernandez for the 3rd spot!
The week was a long hard battle, but I am so Dam proud of these kids from New Mexico that I'm proud to Call them and thier parents my Friends NO wait my Family!

Spencer won his 2 cycle class and took 4th in both the JR 2 4 cycle heavy and the animal class.
Raeanna Vandemark and Jacob Cowger were representing in the Jr 1 classes racing their hearts out!
It was great pitting next to the New Mexico crowd and cheering everyone on...there is a lot of talented racers from Caplin and Cruces..

Congrats to everyone that went thanks for the help, sorry I'm a little slow on this, but better late than never. Well we did have a good weekend finish wise and looks like the local favirote that DNF got Jacobs spot.

Like Jacob always reminds me, " Dad, lets just run who cares where we finish, lets just have fun." And needless to say he got me at the classic right when I was about to completely disassemble kart to find the problem.

Congrats again and thanks for all the help to all.

Hey Jesse the FICM was bad...and they wanted to replace the oil and EGR coolers all for only 4k....I had them get me going with the Fuel Injector Control Module for only (ha ha) 1400 and I flew out and drove it back the next weekend. I was thinking that I would put a oil and coolant temp gauge on it to see what is going on with it before I replace the other stuff. I only loose coolant under load...hope it's not the HG!!! I guess that is what I get for buying a 6.oh no!
It was great seeing you guys out at the Classic.

9 times out of 10 it's the FICM, I've replaced them on trucks with less 50k. just watch for white smoke out exhaust unload they sell a cheap test kit at napa and carquest for under $100 to check for CO in coolant, if that's the problem put a for sale sign on it. the cab has to be lifted off to remove heads Sad Sad Sad Sad
