Jimmy,
Are the cans the SSX-V type?
Thats a very reasonable price. _________________ Dennis Sedlak

That would be the SSX can originally used in Sprint racing but was ruled out and replaced with the SSX-V can due to decibel ratings at sprint tracks. Also the heat direction from the four holes was found to be an undesirable effect on the right rear tire.
There are no classes in Speedway that use the SSX can muffler, only the SSX-V is approved in Speedway racing.
The Jr classes still use the YBX can, but no SSX at Speedway.

Wouldnt matter if its not approved, there trying to start the open class, combined class or run what you brung class.
When I used one of these I was fast, and as far as heat on the tire, you could do what Pat said to do, turn it up side down. |

Upside down would be good as the thrust from the four holes would create added down force on the rear wheels!
Good idea Pat. _________________ Dennis Sedlak

and maybe it would work like cloud seeding and we would get a nice slow rain the day before and the day of the race to water the track and we would never need to drag out the hose again. _________________ The older I get the faster I was |
