Sprints are cool, minis are OK and midgets are slick. I wish I could buy one.

Jeff Brumfield and I pooled all our spare parts, we are putting the 85 Gambler together. The motor is small (302cid) but has good parts. Running sprint car $5500. We are going to take it to the race in Tularosa Feb 13 and 14, kinda a shake down test. _________________ Stephen Spiak |

Dennis, I have always admired the way you and Eric have worked together to run successfully. It's not always easy but is always rewarding. Good luck in your future ventures. _________________ Charley Hill

Thanks Charlie. I feel the same way about watching you and Spencer, Wim and Cody/Kaylee, Tim and Austin, and each and every father/mother and son/daughter combination. Karting came along at a time for me when I needed to focus on family, and it was very rewarding. In the beginning, it was a goal to just finish a race, then to win a heat, then to win a main. There are racers that give 100% that will never win a main event, but they keep coming back. We had more fun racing karts at ASK, then on a regional level in Phoenix, Havasu, and Tucson. We became part of their racing family as well, and that was what it is all about. So, enjoy ASK, continue to support it, and who knows, you can get into karting for less money now, so maybe I will buy a kart. _________________ Dennis Smith
