This place is sick fast! Withn the gear I have in I can't slow down nearly enough in the pits, at idle the car seems to be going ~30mph .....

The record setting push tire on the front of Dennis' 4 wheeler is helpin me think speed Very Happy

We ran OK in hot laps but, in the heat plugged an injector and went on 7 cylinders. Got it fixed for the B, ran 5th missing the transfer by 1. Gona try to transfer in to the big show saturday but, that's gonna be tough, lots of very fast cars and they will only take 3 out of 18.

Big thanks to Dennis Sedlack, Jeff Brumfield, my wife Terri, E+ Embrodiry, CarCrafters, Genesis Motoesports, Stephan's Signs and Lobo Fire Protection Very Happy

Sooooo ,,, to keep my trailer from getting stolen at the hotel I took a wheel off, unless they got a wheel and lug nuts for a 49 chevy 3/4 ton pickup the ain't gonna be able to rip it off....

So were sitting on the grid wating to get pushed off and Jeff comes up to me and points out Stanbrough, and says "I'm gona go over there and tell him he better hold his breath caus 17 is gonna go by soooo fast that all the oxygen is gonna get sucked out of the air Twisted Evil

We had a BLAST, and, like we always say about going to nationals, ya come back faster Very Happy

I calculated my speed at 119mph at the end of the streights Shocked ,, like I said SICK fast compared to what I'm use to.

The format was:

Thursday half the wing and half the non wing ran a full show, pill draw, heat races, 16 transfered in to the A, 4 from the B (I missed by 1 after having trouble in the heat). Top 7 went to the final Sat night. The other half did the same thing Friday, so 14 in the final ,,,, Sat, seprate Bs for thursday and friday night cars, three to transfer from each B ... I ran 16 out of 19 which dosen't seem all that impressive but, I was in the main pack and felt like I was fast enough to do better but, realy didn't want to take many chances passing. I might have had a chance to get in to the top 10 but, top 3 was gonna be tough.

Over all a great trip. Danny Lasoski blew up his motor and apparently didn't have a spare, I asked if he wanted to drive my car and he couldn't say NO fast enough....

They have an 11:00 PM curfew so they really roll the show along, driver's meeting at 5:00, wheel packing/hot laps at 5:30, done by 10:30 .....
